| Match v Horsham Bridge Club |
We are playing a teams of 4 match against Horsham Bridge Club on the evening of Wednesday 9th June. We are fielding 12 teams of various levels so if you would like to be considered for selection then please contact Oliver.

| EBU National Pairs Qualifier |
We are running a qualifying heat for the National Pairs on Sunday 21st March at 11am. There will be 2 sessions of 24 boards with a 1 hour break in the middle and a finish time of 5pm. Visitors are welcome and the charge for the day will be £6 per player. To register, please send an email to ocbridgecomps@gmail.com listing BBO usernames for both players and a contact phone number for at least one player. As of 16th March, there are 42 pairs registered.

| Christmas Handicap Pairs for Homeless Street Angels |
The Christmas Charity Handicap Pairs wll run on Saturday 16th December on BBO & RealBridge with 32 boards across 2 sessions starting at 2pm and finishing by 6pm with a short break.
Players can choose which platform to play on as both games will have the same hands.
Entry fee is £10 per player - please send to sort 204895 acct 43186903 acct name Oliver Cowan Bridge Ltd.

| Match v Welwyn Garden City |
On Tuesday 30th March we had 6 teams of 4 going head to head against Welwyn Garden City Bridge Club. Of the 6 matches, we won 4, drew 1 and lost 1 resulting in a total VP win by 72-48. Thanks to all those who represented the club and well done!

| Des King Trophy |
NGS 6 or below? Come and join us at the Barton Manor Hotel & Spa 18-19 November 2023
You do not need to have a partner for this but please book in advance so we can ensure a host is available.
As part of the Lancashire Congress we have incorporated a relaxed duplicate session for the Des King Trophy on Saturday afternoon
Join In a Q&A session on the hands played before dinner on Saturday evening
Sunday there will be a seminar by Tom Copeland followed by a relaxed session to practice what you have learned in the morning!

| Lancashire Congress 2023 |
For the first time since Covid - the return of the Lancashire Congress (face to face)
Join us at Barton Manor Hotel & Spa for another friendly bridge Congres
Saturday 18th November – Green Point Swiss Pairs (11:00-18:00)
Sunday 19th November – Green Point Swiss Teams (11:00-18:00)
Currently 18 tables for the pairs and 19 teams are registered.
There is also a relaxed session for NGS 6 & below for the Des King Trophy (see separate entry)

| North Wales Congress |
Following the success of EBU Northern Midweek Congress, the next congress being run by Oliver Cowan Events is the North Wales Congress.
It will run over the weekend of 21-22 October with a one day Green Pointed Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams.
Full details and prices for this event which is taking place at the Holiday Inn Chester West can be found on the flyer which you can see by clicking anywhere in this box. This will be a Bulid Your Own Congress event where players will have the option to enjoy a meal on offer in the hotel in the breaks each day or make their own arrangements.

| New Weekly Games |
Starting immediately, I am running a session on BBO every Sunday and Monday evening at 7:15pm. This is a joint session for the Oliver Cowan Bridge Club and the Friendly Online Bridge Club. The games are $3.50 BBO to enter and if you would like to play but do not use BBO dollars then get in touch with Oliver.
Games count for Masterpoints and NGS and will be listed on the BBO tournament list under "Friendly Online Bridge Club Pairs".
All other games are not affected by these changes.
